First of all it is a precious metal containing five main elements, that coincides with the number of people in the band. Every member of the band is a real personality with his own taste, sense of music and life, that is why this tandem is interesting for us, for the bond of original musical ideas, the main one of which, is to give us a good European product, to give people real emotions and make this world kinder. As the style of the music combines romanticism, lyrics, powerful guitar drive and the Slavic melodious vocal, we can call this style melodious pop-rock, but the musicians like to be free and live outside any boundaries so nobody tries to follow any concrete style in music. The lyrics are very deep, the music is not simple. Just like platinum, the band is highly cupelled which is appreciated by people with refined taste. The band was born when people first heard about it. The first video for the song “The ticket to the movie” was shot in 2006 (directed by Katya Tsaric). When this video was on the screen was when people first knew about the band. This very year the first disc of the band “The Odd Words” with 14 Ukrainian tracks was released. In 2007 their second video was shot for the song, “The Odd Words," (directed by Valeriy Ra). During this time the band “PLATINA” found a lot of fans who wait impatiently for the concerts in many cities of Ukraine. This is what motivates the band not to stop and move stubbornly forward. After a long break the band is ready to present their fans with a long-awaited disc “About You”. The track-list:

The mood, feelings and emotions while writing, one can feel in the notes and words of every work. All the tracks are minor, but the contrast between the light vocal and powerful guitar drive makes the music very dynamic, flexible and honest. When listening the disc, one has the feeling similar to that of watching a good movie with a plot, story, romance, drama and of course love, that is fundamental in the work of the band “PLATINA”. The musicians did not have any deadlines while working so the pleasure of writing lasted for some years. The music of the band has its own format and style. The song “About You” (the main title), has its own interesting story which is why the name was chosen for the disc. This song has light vocal but has very deep meaning as it hides between the lines the loss of a very dear person, in the words of the chorus : about you, about me, about the sky… it is sung about two people whose love is eternal and the sky is the witness and the only link to their feelings, also the eyes and the look that can tell far more than any words… : “I do not need to know more when I look into your eyes as I see so much in them….” The first track “All Needed” is unique by the topic. This song is about abortions, something women seem to do so often now and end up with an inability to have a child as an awful result of it. When two people have almost everything they need for life together but do not have the most important thing - children, the voice in the background of life sings: “All you need, you have all but you do not have us…” About this thoughtlessness that dominates among young people this song tries to remind, though one can not hear the word abortion in the lines of the song. The song “One Moment” is about two people who love each other but have to live apart as one of them had to go to another country for a long time. Each song has its own interesting story. But the listener is better to see these stories individually. Maybe some of them will coincide with his own lives and feelings. There are some new members in the band now, but the nature, sounds and style have almost not changed. Life and time influence the mood and viewpoints that are reflected in the songs.
